Description:
Huntington Hospital, a 525-bed non-profit,
community-focused Regional Medical Center, is located
in Pasadena just 15 minutes from downtown Los Angeles.
The
Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan and administer
treatments for disabilities, injuries and diseases
in accordance with a physician's order. Responsible
for coordination of care to meet identified physical
therapy needs of the patient/family; participate in
the management of patient care to include identification,
monitoring care delivery, advocating for the patient,
evaluating outcomes, facilitating patient care across
the health care continuum, assisting team members,
and acting as preceptor for related staff and students.
Physical
Therapist ensures legal and ethical practices by practicing
with regulatory requirements and demonstrating knowledge
of such aspects as "The Physical Therapy Practice Act
and Regulations of the Physical Therapy Examining Committee"
(01 0195), JACHO and other regulatory requirements.
Must be a CA Licensed Physical Therapist with rehab
experience and BLS Certification.
