has opportunities avaialable as Research Nurse Clinicians
in a number of speciality areas!
Provides direction
to daily operations of clinical research trials using
sound nursing judgement and diverse clinical knowledge.
Collaborates with internal and external customers to
implement research plans. Associate or diploma degree
in nursing, plus two or more years clinical experience
in related field of specialty, including oncology.
Highly organized individual with demonstrated
leadership and MN RN license also required. Certification
in specialty preferred (if applicable). Demonstrates
knowledge of age related growth and development principles
necessary to provide appropriate service and assure
safety of patients. Competently performs job-specific
technical skills and processes identified in the job-specific
competency-based orientation materials. Baccalaureate
degree and experience in related field of specialty
preferred.
The Oncology Research Clinician provides
nursing and data management support to physicians for
the identification, enrollment and management of patients
on national research studies involving the treatment
of cancer for the Metro Minnesota Community Clinical
Oncology Program (MMCCOP). Oncology experience required.
Research experience preferred. This position is located
at Abbott Northwestern in Minneapolis.
