Associate Nurse Manager-PPO
The ANM will be responsible for operations of the Pre and Post Op Units (PPO) including performing within budget, staff evaluations, monthly hours production and hiring and discipline. This position will also include identification of goals and shared responsibility (with Nurse Manager) for process improvements in PPO Units.

Additionally, this person will become oriented to the care processes in these units and be able to perform in these roles in support of the staff when needed. In the absence of the Nurse Manager, the Associate Nurse Manager assumes the management of the patient care area.

Education/Experience:
The ANM, PPO will be a RN. A bachelors degree is preferred, but not required. At least 3 years previous management or PPO experience is required.

Associate Nurse Manager-OR
Responsible for the daily operations of the Operating Room. This includes staff, supply and financial management responsibilities with specific tasks such as hiring, evaluations and discipline, supply and equipment selection and coordination, and facilitation of the daily O.R. schedule. This position will also include identification of goals and shared responsibility (with O.R. Manager) for process improvements and Lean initiatives within the O.R. This position can also include acting as charge for patient flow at the Surgery Control desk and include evening management coverage.

Education/Experience:

Licensed registered nurse
Bachelor's degree or and progress towards this degree expected yearly.
Two years' operating room or management experience required.


Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:

Licensed registered nurse.
CNOR or related certification desired.
Basic computing: Windows and/or DOS based programs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrates knowledge of age related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
