Northeast is seeking a gastrointestinal fellowship
trained pathologist to work in our Shelton, Connecticut
practice. AmeriPath Northeast is a successful and fast
growing practice, processing an excess of 20,000 GI
cases in 2007, and an expected 30,000 + cases in 2008.
These cases encompass a broad range of clinical entities.
Established
in April of 2005, the facilities at this location are
excellent with a newly constructed state-of-the art
laboratory. AmeriPath Northeast serves the greater
New York region and surrounding areas. Shelton is in
a desirable part of Connecticut, located just off the
Merritt Parkway and approximately 60 miles from Manhattan,
140 from Boston and 20 from New Haven.
Excellent
laboratory facilities for the cytogenetics and hematopathology
services are also located at this site. In addition
to routine histology and immunohistochemistry, molecular
testing provided by Specialty Laboratories in California
is readily available.
