Description:
Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is the largest
of the 4 not-for-profit hospitals in the Cottage Health
System. Nestled between the ocean and mountains, CHS
has 408 beds, making us the largest hospital system
on the central coast.
The main OR has an average
census of 700 patients per month. A wide variety of
procedures are performed with Neuro Service & Ortho
Spine Service being the largest caseload. The OR supports
a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and provides
an environment of learning and professional growth
for staff development. 10-hour or 8-hour shifts are
available.
ANESTHESIA NURSE
The Anesthesia
Nurse supports the Anesthesiologist on difficult and
complex cases and is a resource for the entire surgical
team. A CC background is strongly preferred. We have
a great team of Anesthesiologists to work with and
the chance to provide leadership to a dedicated team
of Nurses and Techs that provide this service.
