Job Details: LEAD RADIATION THERAPIST

Description: BERKSHIRE MEDICAL CENTER, is a 302 bed, not-for-profit community teaching hospital and regional trauma center affiliated with
U MASS Medical School, is currently seeking a full-time Lead Radiation Therapist to join our professional oncology team.
Required qualifications include completion of a JRCERT accredited radiation therapy program, a minimum of 3 years experience as a radiation therapist, a Massachusetts radiation license, and current registration with ARRT. Candidates should also have demonstrated management and supervisory skills, the ability to function independently and proficiently in a high stress, work intensive environment, and be technically and clinically competent to function as a role model and foster teamwork. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, etc.) is strongly preferred.

Our Radiation Oncology Department employs two part-time and five full-time therapists who provide services to an average of fifty (50) patients per day. Equipment utilized includes a Varian 21 EX with Portal Imaging, 120MLC, IMRT, GE Lightspeed RT CT Simulator, Tomotherapy, IMPAC record and verify system, ADAC treatment planning and seed implant program. Current equipment planning includes cyberknife.
