Clinics are recruiting Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners.
The
Department of Emergency Medicine and Department of
Psychiatry at the University of Iowa Hospitals and
Clinics are recruiting Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners
to work in the Emergency Care Trauma Center. This position
will provide emergency adult and adolescent psychiatric
assessments primarily in the UIHC emergency treatment
center. This includes providing suicide, homicide,
and impairment / risk assessments.
The position
will collaborate / consult with members of the multi-disciplinary
health care team to implement patient care recommendations
- including voluntary and involuntary psychiatric hospitalizations.
For some patients, urgent short term case management
may be provided by this position.
