Opportunities are FULL TIME & PRN

Position Summary: Provide general medical care and treatment to patients in health center in collaboration with Physician.

Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines.

Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.

Records physical findings, and formulates treatment plan and prognosis.

Provides written home-going instructions.

Discusses case with Physician and other health professionals as appropriate to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.

Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.

Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.

Educates and coaches nursing staff on best nursing practices.

Education and/or Experience: Master's degree (MSN) required. At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner, Nationally Certified as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner, Current Certification in Basic Life Support is required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services. collaborating Physician, if allowed within state of practice. Certification as an Occupational Health Nurse is a plus!
