Concierge Services Manager

In this newly created position, you will report to the Director of Concierge Services and manage the Concierge Services Program Office Budget (operating budget of approximately $960,000, endowments of approximately $100,000 and revenue in excess of $1,000,000). The activities of the Concierge Services Office include: the Concierge Services Program, Urgent Referral Service, International Medical Services, Executive Medical Assessments and all affinity relationships. You will collaborate with physician leadership and the Director in setting goals for the Concierge Services Program, and act as the clinical liaison for UCSF "concierge" high-level patient referrals from UCOP, Chancellor, Deans, Department Chairs, Faculty, Senior Leadership, Governmental Relations, the Development office and major donors/members of the UCSF Foundation. International Medical Services referrals (approximately 160 international patient referrals annually) include physician referral, consultation/appointment/procedure scheduling and personal oversight of patient care. You will provide leadership to upcoming marketing efforts to promote the expansion of international referrals to the Pacific Rim and Middle East. Required Qualifications: Requires a BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Health Services Administration (or related field) and 4+ years of extensive health care experience, preferably in an academic medical center. Must have excellent leadership and interpersonal relationship skills, and an exceptional ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands effectively, and deal with complex issues. Effective written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office suite are essential.
