opening for a pediatric dentist to join the faculty
of its hospital-based dental clinic. The pediatric
dental clinic is now in its 7th year and has experienced
considerable growth.
Carilion Clinic is the
fastest growing and largest not-for-profit integrated
healthcare delivery system in Southwest Virginia, with
8 hospitals, 86 practice sites, and 20 GME programs
that are affiliated with University of Virginia and
Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Through
a joint venture with Virginia Tech, the new Carilion
Virginia Tech School of Medicine will open in Roanoke
in Fall 2010.
