Description:
We are looking to hire a full-time, personable,
energetic, and innovative Practice Administrator for
a well-established Ear, Nose, and Throat practice consisting
of five Otolaryngologists and one Allergist in north
central Wisconsin.
Under the direction of physicians, the Practice Administrator will provide managerial oversight of day-to-day operations at the main clinical office, as well as provide leadership and vision to continue the development of our growing regional Otolaryngology and Allergy practices. Duties include, but are not limited to: • Provide leadership, managerial supervision, and resource support to daily operations in both primary home as well as regional satellite clinics • Identify, analyze, and resolve personnel and operational issues to ensure quality patient care and maximal operational efficiency • Act as a liaison to investigate and resolve patient complaints • Assist in the recruitment and selection of competent staff • Review performance of personnel and make necessary adjustments/corrections • Assist in negotiations and review of payer contracts • Develop and integrate a local/regional marketing and strategic growth plan • Optimize current ancillary services and evaluate their future development • Develop an internal leadership team with regular office meetings • Foster relationships with other independent regional specialty physician groups and local hospitals Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Proficient in computer applications, including information technology (IT) • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to interact efficiently and effectively at all levels including doctors, employees, and patients • Excellent leadership, planning and organizational skills • Efficiency in marketing and product promotion • Understanding of business finances, as it pertains to and is affected by physician practices, medical billing, and current overhead Education: Bachelor's Degree in Health or Business administration is required.
