Description: Qualifications: MFT or LCSW required.
Master's Degree in Behavioral Science. Three (3) years recent experience providing Chemical and Co-Dependency services to patients and families; multi-disciplinary treatment team experience; three (3) years providing individual, group, family and couples therapy, three (3) years recent (within last five (5) years) experience providing Chemical Dependency services to dually diagnosed patients. Comprehensive knowledge of the nature and dynamics of chemical dependency particularly as it relates to family members, adolescents and their families, and dual diagnosis patients. Ability to provide individual, group, family and couples counseling as it relates chemical dependency; accurate and comprehensive computer charting skills. If recovering, must have three (3) years continuous sobriety at time of hire, and must maintain continuous sobriety as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Three (3) years recent (within last five (5) years) experience in health care setting; community outreach and networking experience; crisis counseling experience and training. 12-Step model of chemical dependency treatment, co-dependency treatment experience. 12-Step program familiarity. Electronic medical record experience preferred.

Duties: Across all phases and components of the Adult Chemical Dependency Treatment Program and the Codependency/Family Programs of the CDRP, in addition to providing general counseling and case management services which include conducting intakes and assessments; performing bio-psychosocial assessments; providing individual and group counseling sessions; conducting educational lectures; developing and presenting treatment plans to the CDRP treatment team for recommendation, revision or approval; responding to and appropriately handling crisis calls and requests for higher level assessments as needed; providing individual, group and family therapy where indicated and approved by the treatment team to the adult, adolescent, co-dependent, family, multi-family and dual diagnosis patient populations of the CDRP. May provide orientation, clinical guidance and/or mentor functions to Counselor II's, student interns, licensure candidates and/or Alcohol/Drug Counseling Certificate candidates as assigned. Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Notes: Schedule may vary according to department needs. Will be required to work at least two (2) evenings/week and some weekend mornings.
