The Staff Educator is
responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing
and evaluating education, training and orientation
programs for associates. Collaborates with appropriate
associates, managers, community members, physicians,
outside agencies to provide educational programs based
on assessment of learning needs as identified by survey,
testing, document reviews, risk management, peer reviews
and/or identified needs of staff or management.
Graduate
of an accredited NLN approved RN program. Bachelor's
degree or equivalent experience. Three (3) years of
recent clinical experience in an acute care setting.
One year of education background preferred. BLS instructor
and ACLS instructor. Computer experience. Excellent
communication skills, organizational skills, outcomes
oriented, and knowledge of education methods.
