Excellent
opportunity for a BE/BC OB/GYN to join a thriving multi-specialty
group in Sequim, Washington. The group currently consists
of two OB/GYNs, one women's health nurse practitioner,
several family practice doctors and nurse practitioners.
We are seeking a well trained general OB/GYN with excellent
surgical skills to replace a retiring physician.
This
is a full time position with competitive salary and
full benefits. The practice is weighted toward gynecology
with an active surgery schedule and an obstetric volume
of about 10 deliveries/month. Inpatient procedures,
outpatient procedures and deliveries are performed
at Olympic Medical Center, an 86-bed full service hospital
located in Port Angeles.
The operating room
is well equipped and the Labor and Delivery suites
have been recently remodeled. Call is every third weekend
and shared with another practice. We strive to achieve
national best practice goals while maintaining a balanced
lifestyle, making this one of the most attractive practices
in the area.
Sequim is one of the most appealing
rural communities in the country, located on the Olympic
Peninsula in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains.
It is an ideal location for those interested in outdoor
activities such as hiking, bicycling, sailing, kayaking,
skiing and fishing. We are an easy drive to Seattle
for theater, concerts, museums and professional sports
teams. Victoria BC is a short ferry ride away.
