Our Registered Nurse (CAPD) is an exciting role at DaVita dedicated to providing training and education for the Home Peritoneal dialysis patient. This position will conduct evaluations of home dialysis candidates, prepare patients to assume primary responsibility for their own health maintenance, orient patients into the peritoneal program, and train patient in peritoneal techniques. To Drive the DeLorean You'll Need: • The passion and desire
to help patients live better lives
• A can-do attitude
• A current RN licensure
in state of employment
• At least 1 year of
hemodialysis experience
• Training/teaching
experience - preferably in a home therapy environment
including experience in Peritoneal Dialysis ( PD
), Home Hemodialysis, Short Daily HD, and/or Self-Care
HD
• Current CPR certification
• Current driver's license,
reliable transportation, and valid vehicle insurance
