Description: Penrose - Centura Health is Colorado's largest family of hospitals and health care services and one of the state's largest private employers.
Bachelor's degree in Biology / Chemistry&ASCP is required. Performs thorough microscopic examination of gyn&non gyn specimens. Considering patient history, renders appropriate diagnosis. Assists physicians with fine needle aspiration. Responsible for compliance&documentation. Must be able to sustain concentration for extended periods of time.

Must be a Cytotechnologist with ASCP certification or certification eligible.

This Cytotechnologist position is in a hospital environment with a high volume of non-gynecologic specimen volume including Fine Needle Aspirations. Included in this position is the opportunity to assist radiologist and pathologist in obtaining patient samples.
