On a national treatment center level, manage key elements of treatment center HR functions including recruitment, coordination of on-boarding, training, performance management, recognition programs and general administration for the treatment center. Take direction from, and work closely with ProCure's Corporate Human Resources to insure corporate compliance within Center Operations, as applicable. WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Masters Degree in Human Resources or Healthcare Administration 5-10 years Human Resources Generalist experience 5 years of HR experience in a healthcare environment DUTIES -Serve as employee advocate - confidential resource for employee issues related to management, performance, and general leave, absence, and corrective action/mitigation - Work with Corporate HR to initiate, develop, and sustain and excellent EAP resource available to center employees in a timely and effective manner. - Available to Center Managers as HR resource to assist in issues such as: -Performance Management -Corrective Action -Leave of Absence requests -EAP -Policies and procedures related to general HR guidelines and practices - Recruitment - Ensure that this function is effectively managed to fill center-level positions promptly and professionally and to do so in a cost effective and competitive-to-the environment manner. - Training and Development - Develop and implement training programs that aid in the fulfillment of the company's annual training requirements, and skill-specific management training, (e.g. coaching, performance management, diversity, sexual harassment, etc.) - Performance Management- Ensure that all dimensions of performance management are effectively managed to foster employee development and retention. - Internal Branding-Foster ProCure's brand, recognizing that it is the cornerstone of ProCure's service mission. - Demonstrated success in the areas of recognition programs, compensation management, safety and risk management and health care. - Participate in the development, implementation and training of content and process for HR self service software. - Special projects and other initiatives or tasks as assigned. - Involvement and hands-on approach within the national treatment centers. - Serve in the role of curriculum developer and Instructor at ProCure's Training and Development Center. Additional Center Oversight Responsibilities: - employment and compliance to regulatory concerns; - employee orientation, development, and training; - policy development and documentation; - employee relations; - compensation administration; - employee safety, welfare, wellness and health; - EAP program oversight and referrals; and - employee services and counseling. The Vice President of Human Resources originates and leads human resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture at the treatment center level that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior, service-oriented workforce. Works with hospital/physician partners to integrate HR needs and practices, as appropriate. The Human Resources Vice President serves as a national center level employee advocate, and functions on the executive management team; assists and advises the National Executive Directors about human resources issues. SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES Incumbent must be able to multi-task, demonstrate exceptional organization skills, be adept at both verbal and written communication, and interface well with management at all levels of the organization. Must serve as a confidential employee advocate, and work with Corporate HR to mitigate potential HR issue inflammation. Must demonstrate the ability to coach and develop employees, and expect and demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism. Must have a creative side and be able to "think outside the box" in areas of training (in person, web-based, etc), recruitment, and employee recognition programs. - Ability to perform at the strategic and operational level - Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization - Excellent organizational, analytical, managerial, and coaching skills - The ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality - The ability to grow human resources within the company's national treatment centers - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Knowledge of current adult learning modalities SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY Incumbent will be responsible for and have accountability for all HR functions at the national center level. National monitoring and oversight of performance appraisals, corrective action, QA, and training of all center staff on issues of annual training requirements. Supervise HR generalists as required over time. FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY Responsible for the submission of national capital and operations HR budget and ongoing oversight and accountability for national HR budget component of operations budget. OTHER Travel to national centers to ensure proper execution of all of the above duties, as well as attendance at national and international meetings.
