Description: Banner Health, Arizona's largest healthcare provider, has full-time opportunities for experienced Pediatrics Clinical Managers at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center (day and night shifts).
Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, located in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona, has been serving the Northwest Valley for 25 years and is growing to meet the needs of our fast growing community. Our Pediatrics service is growing too. We are adding additional Medical Surgical as well as PICU beds to the Pediatrics Department over the next two years. Our Pediatrics staff is supported by the expertise of two full-time Child Life Specialists and we've just finished construction of a superb Pediatric playground.

The Clinical Manager-Pediatrics plans and provides clinical support to patients and staff, provides clinical leadership and participates in financial and personnel management within the department. This role participates in the selection, orientation, counseling and evaluation of staff as well as in department quality improvement.

Requirements:
• Current RN license and three years of closely related clinical experience
• Ability to build and maintain effective communication and working relationships
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to organize and provide care appropriate to the age of patients served
• Bachelor's degree, a strong Peds background and prior management experience strongly preferred
