Job Summary:
Within the context of a client and family-centred care model, and in accordance with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) standards of professional practice, Code of Ethics, and the established mission, vision, values, objectives and policies of Vancouver Coastal Health, provides nursing care to assigned clients both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Enhances quality of life from the perspective of the client/family. Consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care givers. Demonstrates expertise and leadership in nursing practice.

Qualifications:
Current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC).

Broad knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a client/family centered model of care. Broad knowledge of CRNBC's standards for nursing practice. Demonstrated ability in nursing practice related to designated client group. Demonstrated ability to plan and implement plans of care in relation to client/family priorities. Related clinical experience in an acute medical area including recent oncology nursing experience in Leukemia / Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
