Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital is currently
seeking full and part-time (64 - 80 hours/2 weeks)
Pharmacists to work at the Methodist Hospital Pharmacy.
The position requires a Bachelor's or PharmD degree in pharmacy with current licensure in Minnesota (or, a graduate of Pharmacy School that is prepared to take the Minnesota State Board test for licensure within three months of hire). Institutional experience (hospital or home care/outpatient IV) is preferred. Methodist Hospital Pharmacy offers decentralized services and programs, plus resources and teaching from specialists in oncology, nutrition support and critical care. We use Micromedex, an online medical information resource with expertise in pharmacy management involving homecare, anticoagulation, intensive care and investigational drugs. Services include: - Decentralized Pharmacists and automated dispensing cabinets - Dispensing of pharmaceuticals in accordance with Federal and State regulations - Drug monitoring, clinical consults and dosing services - Patient drug assessment functions and verify clinician order entry - Appropriate record keeping - Drug information services - Quality assurance/improvement functions - Inventory management functions Methodist Hospital Pharmacists enjoy flexible staffing with many pharmacists working less than full-time.
