Job Details: Psychiatric ARNP

Description: Psychiatric ARNP to join existing practice. Under the supervision of the Psychiatrist, the ARNP assumes the responsibility of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment focusing on supportive psychotherapy and medication management.

-Must have MSN.
-FL Licensure with Prescriptive Authority.
-ANCC certification.
-Shares in call schedule 1:3
-Enjoy solid compensation package including medical, dental and 401K plan.
-Position primarily consists of outpatient care and Nursing Home consultation/evaluations.
-Full staff and support including scheduling, billing and authorizations.
-Performs history taking, assessment, diagnosis and therapeutic treatment planning within scope of practice.
-Diagnose and initiate patient treatment based on assessment findings.
-Maintains a complete and legible medical record, to include documentation of each patient visit.
-Prescribes medications according to prescriptive privileges.
-Assesses and initiates follow up care for patients as indicated by assessment.
-Orders and follows up on all lab work, imaging studies and other diagnostic tests ordered.
