LCSW needed for Air Force Psychological Health
Program at Anderson Air Force Base
The Social Worker
shall be responsible for and apply social work procedures
and techniques in the evaluation and treatment of psychological/psychiatric
disorders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The social worker
is required to hold a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.)
degree from an accredited graduate school of social
work. Additionally, the Social Worker shall:
Have
and maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice
social work in any one of the 50 states, the District
of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Have a minimum of two (2) years within the
past five (5) years in the independent practice of
clinical social work in child, adolescent and family
therapy. Experience in a Government setting such a
DOD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF is preferred
but, not necessary. Preference will be given to a social
worker having completed a fellowship in child and family
therapy.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of
professional standards and ethics regarding the delivery
of clinical social work services.
Must be a
US citizen.
