Job Details

Position Summary: Assesses and provides nutrition treatment, consultation, and/or education to a primarily specialized group of patients and/or families as ordered by physicians. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.

Required Education/Training: B.S. degree with major in foods and nutrition from accredited college or university which includes an internship or an M.S. degree in foods and nutrition with approved American Dietetic Association training. Licensed in the District of Columbia and Registered Dietitian of the American Dietetic Association (RD).

Required Experience: One or more years of experience in general clinical nutrition preferred. Current knowledge of clinical dietetics. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility in schedule and tasks, as needed. Computer skills. Legible handwriting, good customer service skills and attitude, team player.
