Group of 5 in Denver
Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver, Colorado Announces CC/Pulm Opportunity with Established Group Colorado Pulmonary Associates P.C. Start Dates in 2008 and 2009 Practice Environment This group has been the anchor practice at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center for over 30 years. This hospital is the tertiary care/ referral "hub" of Denver's largest hospital system, HealthONE, and is home to the busiest BMT program in the region. The University of Colorado IM residents rotate through P/SL and Colorado Pulmonary Associates physicians hold clinical faculty appointments to the University. The hospital also draws patients from a 65 community, 5-state Outreach program. Because of the degree of acuity and presence of many super-sub specialists, this is known as Denver's most intellectually intriguing ICU. Schedule Physicians have time to enjoy Colorado's lifestyle with 15 scheduled 12-hour hospital shifts per month. Only 5 of these are nights, and physicians enjoy 12-13 days off per month in a family-and-travel friendly rotation. Three days per month are committed to office/outpatient practice supported by in-office x-ray, PFTs and respiratory therapists. Qualifications Candidates must be BC IM and CC/Pulm fellowship trained. Candidates BE in CC/Pulm will be considered if still in training and/or scheduled for boards. Compensation Competitive market salary plus health and malpractice. Full range of supplemental benefits available with pre-tax dollars. 2 years to partnership for the right candidate, and employee option remains available for candidates not interested in partnership.
