Description: Pediatric Clinical/Staff Pharmacists
The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt is a 222 bed free-standing tertiary care center serving the Middle Tennessee area. The facility includes a 36-bed pediatric critical care unit, 78-bed neonatal intensive care unit, 12-bed myelosuppression unit and 16 operating rooms. More than 154,393 children were seen in Children's clinics. The Emergency Department saw 43,908 children. The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt is a leading provider of pediatric care, ranked 23rd in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. The Department of Pharmacy is dedicated to providing the best possible pharmaceutical care to patients. This includes advanced CPOE, bar-coding, smart pump technology and other patient safety initiatives. The pharmacy has received two Best Practice Awards from the Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group in 2004 and 2006.

Minimum Qualifications:

Clinical Pharmacist- this position requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and Pharmacist license. Completion of a Pediatric Pharmacy Residency.

Staff Pharmacist-this position requires a bachelor of pharmacy degree and pharmacist license.
