• Caseload mix of 70% spine and 30% cranial and peripheral nerve
• An increase in vascular events is anticipated with the fine care and tools provided at the new facility
• Call is 1:5, but No Trauma
• 4 Neurologists, including stroke neurologist
• 2 Neurosurgical Physician Assistants who assist in surgery and discharge patients

Western Neurosurgery has an excellent working relationship with Carondelet Health Network, a five hospital system. The hospital system and practice have worked hand-in-hand in the design, planning, and development of the specifications for a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility, Carondelet Neurological Institute-Tucson's first and only neurological institute. Dr. Eric Sipos, a partner of Western Neurosurgery, is the Institute's Medical Director.
