Description: Part Time Physician Assistant Opportunity in Weight Management
Dean Health System is currently recruiting for a 2nd Advanced Practitioner to work with patients as part of our multi-disciplinary Weight Management Program. This is a full time position, working at the Dean West Clinic in Madison. Hours will be Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., though hours may vary per departmental needs. Also, some evening hours will be required (working until 6/6:30 p.m.). The duties include but are not limited to: H&P's, providing pre and post operative care of surgical patients, as well as follow up care, facilitating case conferences with other members of Weight Management Team, facilitating patient support groups and patient education.

This position will also perform Lap Band adjustment procedures in the office setting and will possibly involve surgical first assisting on bariatric procedures in the future. The ideal candidate for this position will have some surgical assisting experience.
