St. Joseph's continues to expand and enhance its services to meet the growing needs of the community by providing comprehensive neurological, neurosurgical, pediatric, perinatal, cardiac, thoracic, and cancer care. POSITION REQUIREMENTS

St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center has proven to have a strong reputation as a leader in clinical technology. The Biomedical Engineering Department consists of imaging and biomedical equipment specialists who provide services to all CHW hospitals within Arizona which consists of Chandler Regional Hospital, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center.

This team of specialists delivers services which include, but is not limited to, the repair and planned maintenance of sophisticated medical equipment. Biomedical Engineering specialists also function as a professional, technical resource to physicians, nurses and hospital personnel in technology assessment, regulatory compliance, site planning and installation assistance.

The imaging specialist focuses on the calibration, preventive maintenance and repair of medical diagnostic imaging equipment and associated systems. Insuring quality and proactively monitoring the imaging equipment for safety and performance

Join us now as we are seeking a BMET IMAGING SPECIALIST. The BMET Imaging Specialist performs highly skilled work in all phases of advanced types of specialized, imaging equipment. This specialist can repair and maintain such specialized equipment as General R&F, C-Arms, Portable X-Ray, Tomography, Angiographic, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Digital Systems with minimal assistance from outside contractors. Primarily performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections. Functions as technical resource on capital projects, equipment installations, construction projects, etc. Documents work performed on equipment, maintains communication regarding equipment status to management and end user, and coordinates outside vendor repairs.

Qualifications: Minimum requirements are an Associates Degree, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic, Electrical, Technology or related field.

Must possess a minimum of five years experience in the repair and maintenance of medical diagnostic imaging systems.

Customer service experience and excellent communication skills required. A plus if the person is also experienced in general biomedical equipment.
