The Iowa Clinic, a 110 physician-owned and
governed multispecialty group, invites you to consider
an exceptional opportunity within its Obstetrics/Gynecology
Department.
Due to growth, the Clinic is seeking
an additional BE/BC Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join
its organization based in Des Moines, Iowa. This position
will enable you to walk into an extremely busy and
ready-made practice!
The Department currently
includes 11 physicians and three advanced practice
providers based in three offices throughout Des Moines
and West Des Moines. It is the clinic's desire to expand
its patient base by further increasing physician representation
within the region. This position will consist of a
four-day workweek with a 1:5 call schedule, and a future
potential of 1:10.
Physicians maintain privileges
at both major hospital systems in Des Moines, with
the majority of their practices based at Iowa Methodist
Medical Center, a 560-bed Level I Trauma Center and
Level III Perinatal Unit. Iowa Methodist has a newly
remodeled state-of-the-art maternity center that includes
25 labor and delivery rooms, as well as 36 neonatal
intensive care beds.
Any preconceived notions
of flat, Iowa farmland are completely dispelled when
you see this fabulous region! The capital of Iowa,
Des Moines, has a metro population of approximately
500,000. The area includes outstanding nationally recognized
schools and an abundance of cultural and recreational
activities. Des Moines features many safe and affordable
