Job Details: Pediatric Neurologist

 
Description: 100% Child Neurology practice with 2 partners - 2 hours south of Chicago - Opportunity for academic affiliation with the University of Illinois
Carle Clinic Association is currently seeking a third BE/BC Pediatric Neurologist to join an established Pediatrics department in Urbana, Illinois. Carle Clinic is a 330-physician owned and operated multispecialty group practice that is the second largest outpatient treatment center in Illinois and has a service area of approximately 1.5 million residents. Carle Foundation Hospital is a 300-bed facility that is a designated Level I Trauma Center and Level III Perinatal Unit. Some additional details regarding this position include:

- 100% child neurology practice
- Access to onsite clinical and diagnostic equipment (e.g., EEG, MRI, CAT scans)
- Take call between 8 to 10 days a month
- Ideal candidate will have background and/or experience in typical, outpatient behavioral Pediatric Neurology
- The Pediatric department consists of 20 physicians (general Pediatricians and specialists)
- Wide variety of Pediatric subspecialty services, including in-house Pediatric Hospitalists, Critical Care, Gastroenterology, Neonatology, Hematology-Oncology, Pulmonology, and Neurology
- Three child Psychiatrists are members of the Psychiatry department
- Neurology Department includes three Neurosurgeons, a Neuro-ophthalmologist, five adult Neurologists, and two Neuropsychologists
- Carle Clinic utilizes electronic medical records (EMR)
- Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
