Medical Associates Clinic, located in Dubuque,
Iowa, is seeking an additional Internist to join the
Internal Medicine Department.
The department currently
consists of 15 physicians; call is only twice a month.
We have a dynamic internal medic Medical Associates
Clinic, located in Dubuque, Iowa, is seeking an additional
Internist to join the Internal Medicine Department,
supported by four nurse practitioners and one physician
assistant.
The department of medicine has developed
a high quality and efficient practice model. Aided
by excellent nursing support, our department is above
the Medical Group Management Association's (MGMA) 75th
percentile with respect to productivity. At the same
time, we have been nationally recognized for quality.
In 2003, Medical Associates was one of the first five
clinics nationwide to be recognized by the National
Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for both diabetes
and cardiovascular prevention.
Medical Associates
Clinic is a well-established multi-specialty group
practice with over 140 providers. Our practice was
founded in 1924 and is Iowa's oldest multi-specialty
group practice and medical clinic. In 2005, Medical
Associates health plans was ranked among the top in
the nation by NCQA and US News and World Report: our
two Medicare health plans are in the top 10, and our
non-Medicare health plan is in the top 50. Medical
Associates brings specialty care to 14 tri-state area
communities through 22 outreach clinics, representing
12 medical/surgical specialties.
