Nurse Executive Emergency Medicine and Trauma
Center
Lead a major division of a Level I Trauma
Center in our nation's capital as Service Line Director
- Emergency Medicine and Trauma Center at Children's
National Medical Center (CNMC) in Washington, DC.
With
more than 280-beds, CNMC has one of the busiest pediatric
emergency departments in the country, seeing over 70,000
ED patients per year. The Service Line Director - Emergency
Medicine and Trauma Center role will be pivotal, overseeing
130 employees and responsible for all financial, operational,
and quality improvement aspects. In collaboration with
the Chief of Emergency Medicine and Trauma Center,
this role will be responsible for providing leadership
for all aspects of Emergency Department development.
The successful candidate will have five to
seven years of emergency nursing leadership experience,
with a proven track record of quality management initiatives
focused on internal and external customer satisfaction.
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in a related
healthcare field is preferred. Candidates with emergency
department experience in an academic facility or pediatric
hospital will be highly desirable. BSN/MSN candidates
strongly encouraged to apply.
