PhyAmerica Government Services is currently recruiting a Social Work Specialist (MSW) for possible opportunities at IRWIN ARMY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, FORT RILEY, KS.

Processing and screening activities to be performed under this opportunity will be used to assess Soldier's general and specific health status prior to deployment and post deployment, document health status using appropriate MHS forms and automated information systems, make referrals to appropriate specialists for additional screening or treatment and provide appropriate medical services as directed by the Officer/Civilian in Charge of the Soldier processing clinic, medical treatment clinic or department to which the providers are assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCWS) shall have
• A Masters or Doctorate Degree from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) Accredited School
• Shall possess a Clinical Social Work license from a U.S. jurisdiction that allows for the independent practice of clinical services.
• A minimum of two years of experience in the last 3 years as a practicing social worker.
• Extensive clinical experience assessing and treating individuals with mental illness or substance abuse problems, including abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.
• Other qualifications and requirements shall include: Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary health care team, walk and stand for extended periods of time. Knowledge and experience with military health system, people suffering from medically unexplained symptoms, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and/or disasters.
