The Research Nurse Coordinator will coordinate, perform, and provide clinical nursing care for privately, federally and/or commercially sponsored research activities at our Cherry Hill Campus. The candidate will ensure timely attention to and scheduling of activities required by research protocols for all patients. May be called to supervise other research staff. To qualify must be a graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program with a current license to practice as an RN in the State of Washington. A minimum of two years in a nursing specialty consistent with the specified research field is required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, standard office equipment, and general clinical equipment is key to this role. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to perform assessments, provide patient care in accord with research protocols, and educate families regarding the study plan. Familiarity with research methodology and the "Good Clinical Practice" for conducting research projects. Ability to work independently and to perform multiple tasks at any one time is imperative. Also important is the ability to plan and implement ideas. Diplomacy and the ability to work with all levels of patients and employees in a respectful and supportive way are required.
