ALLERGY/IMMUNOLOGY-SAN ANTONIO
The University
of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA)
Department of Pediatrics and CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children's
Hospital are seeking a BC/BE allergist-immunologist
to build a tertiary referral practice and academic
program in the Division of Immunology and Infectious
Diseases. The ideal candidate will have a record of
peer-reviewed publications and potential for extra-mural
support of clinical or translational research. Candidates
with interest in any area of allergy, immunology, inflammation,
or related field are encouraged to apply. Appointment
will be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level,
depending on qualifications. Applicants must be eligible
for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in
Texas. UTHSCSA is a major research university with
$75M annually in NIH grants and contracts. The Medical
School graduates 215 students per year and the Graduate
School of Biomedical Sciences has a full range of PhD
programs. The Children's Hospital is located in the
heart of downtown San Antonio, a fast-growing, affordable
and culturally diverse city with an excellent year-round
climate. All faculty appointments are designated as
