RADIOLOGY IN RHODE ISLAND
Memorial Hospital
of Rhode Island in Pawtucket is seeking an interventional
radiologist. Memorial Hospital has a history of over
100 years of providing healthcare to area residents.
The hospital has 290+ licensed beds and is one of three
National Osteoporosis Hospitals in the country. Candidate
must be a board certified/board eligible physician.
Equipment includes PAC's, two cat scans, electronic
records, a new MR, ultrasound, and angiosuite. There
are three off site locations, however all films are
delivered to Memorial Hospital. There is an equally
shared call schedule with added Nighthawk coverage.
An academic appointment is available through Brown
University at the Assistant or Associate level based
on training and experience. This is a hospital based
lifestyle practice.
Rhode Island is the smallest
state, yet has 400 miles of shoreline! This slice of
New England offers a wide array of cultural, sporting,
and recreational events. The entire state including
the magnificent Narragansett Bay, and the Blackstone
River Valley are all within 1/2 hour driving distance.
Historic Brown University and the Rhode Island School
of Design sit on the East Side in Providence and provide
a university setting just minutes from Memorial Hospital.
Sports enthusiasts will enjoy cheering the Paw Sox,
a Triple A team for the Boston Red Sox and the New
England Patriots. Sailing, cruising, and fishing on
the Bay provide water recreation. Boston is just 45
minutes and the White Mountains provide close access
