Description: RHEUMATOLOGY OPPORTUNITY

LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK
East Coast Rheumatology, LLC, a multi-disciplinary practice and regional center for musculoskeletal excellence, is seeking additional board eligible/board certified rheumatologists to join its thriving practice. In this position you will join a well-established practice of purely consultative medicine. This state of the art facility offers:

1. On site musculoskeletal ultrasound; MRI (Siemens 1.5 Tesla magnet); CT scans (with 3-D reconstruction); and bone density testing.

2. Clinical trials division/arthritis health studies involved in clinical research for biologics for auto-immune diseases, osteoporosis and rheumatoid arthritis.

3. IV infusion center for the latest biologic response modifiers and novel therapies for rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and autoimmune diseases.

4. On-site laboratory services including a new collaboration with NIH and North Shore Long Island Jewish for genetic analysis for rheumatoid arthritis and autoimmune diseases.

5. Physical therapy services, neuromuscular diagnostic services and two on-site physiatrists.

This practice will allow the selected individual the opportunity to walk into a well-established practice and be busy immediately. An academic appointment with the Mount Sinai School of Medicine is available.
