Description: Orthopedic-Trauma at Dartmouth Hitchcock in New England.
There are approximately 125 physicians and associate providers at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene in New Hampshire. There are 26 primary care and specialty areas represented at the clinic in Keene. Keene is one of the community practice sites of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock system, a group practice of over 650 physicians.

The group is seeking a fellowship trained orthopedic trauma surgeon to cover a growing number of trauma cases. A nearby NASCAR speedway and two motocross tracks have contributed to the increase in trauma cases. Practice with five orthopedic surgeons with subspecialty training. The group covers a stand-alone Level III hospital which functions for trauma as a Level II.

This lifestyle practice offers a call schedule of 1:5. Responsibilities include seeing EM patients plus follow-up, electively treat non-unions and malunions and treating patients in the clinic 2.5 days per week and performing surgery two days per week

The newly renovated 40 million dollar campus is a collaborative effort with Cheshire Medical Center, a state-of-the-art 169 bed acute care hospital which includes the Kingsbury Center for Cancer Care, the Farnum Rehabilitation Center, inpatient adult and adolescent mental health, and a Sports Medicine Center.
