Description: Stroke Neurologist - Seattle, Washington - Virginia Mason Neuroscience Institute & Stroke Center
Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, seeks a BE/BC Neurologist to join the Neuroscience Institute and Stroke Center. Our JCAHO-certified Stroke Center is the recent recipient of the 'Get With The Guidelines Stroke (GWTG-Stroke) Gold Performance Achievement Award from the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association. Our vision is to be the Quality Leader in stroke and neurologic care.

Work full time, Mon-Fri, with call schedule being 1:9 for weekends and evenings. Position is approximately 45% stroke, 45% general neurology and 10% research. A fellowship in or strong background in stroke, electronic medical records proficiency, ability to lead, contribute and thrive in a fast-paced environment is required. We seek an individual who will become our long time colleague, who is interested in research and developing novel acute therapies for stroke, and who is interested in teaching
