Qualifications

Education: BSN in nursing preferred-will consider an Associate degree RN with related pediatric experience. Must have current CO license or compact state license as well as current BLS healthcare provider card. PALS and/or ENPC course must be completed within 6 months of hire.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in pediatrics or related area of nursing.Telephone triage experience an asset.

Job Overview:

This is a Neurology telephone triage clinic position. Qualified applicant should demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with proven clinical organization skills. Requires excellent prioritization, time management and communication skills. Must demonstrate positive customer service skills and an appreciation for family centered care. Must posses the ability to appropriately care for children in clinic and over the telephone. Computer skills and literacy essential. Attendance at monthly staff meetings as well as department and hospital training required.

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm or 7am-5:30pm
