Title: Coding
Description: Parkview Health is currently offer an outstanding opportunity to join our growing team as a Coding Specialist.
Responsible for abstracting and coding all inpatient and/or outpatient records according to established procedures and standards.

Credentials of RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS at time of hire preferred. Candidates with formalized acute care coding education by an AHIMA accredited program and/or three years of acute-care hospital coding experience will be considered with the requirement for taking and passing the associated credentialing exam within six months of hire as a condition for continuing in the position.

The new facility is being planned with new technology focused on patient safety and improved outcomes and staff/physician efficiencies. The facility will be open by 2011.
