The Manager of Case Management will assist the Director of Case Management in the development and implementation of the overall case management strategy for HCA. The Manager will work with internal staff and external consultants to identify best practices around case management in the healthcare industry. The best practices will encompass all aspects of case management including resource management, physician integration and measures of success.

The Manager will be responsible for assisting in the development of tools, references, and education materials to support the facilities as new processes are implemented. The Manager must possess the necessary skill sets to implement and operationalize case management initiatives. This candidate will have a strong clinical background and current knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, a strong working knowledge of industry utilized medical necessity criteria, Milliman and/or Interqual will be necessary.

The Manager will also assist in many projects related to case management such as the QMP rollout, QIO reviews, and other projects as deemed necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 1-3 years experience in Case Management Director role either at the facility or division level.

Previous RN experience in a variety of provider clinical settings preferred but not mandatory.
Candidate must have strong communication and presentation skills, demonstrated self-motivation and proven ability to implement changes in the Case Management process.
BS Required
Travel is estimated at 40%.
