Description: Hawaii Permanente Medical Group/Kaiser Permanente Hawaii's most established multi-specialty group of over 400 physicians is recruiting for BC/BE medical oncologist, to be chief of the Hematology/Oncology division.
Hawaii's most established multi-specialty group of over 400 physicians is recruiting for BC/BE medical oncologist, to be chief of the Hematology/Oncology division. Specialty departments are sub specialized on the academic model. The successful candidate will be on a partnership track pending successful performance. Kaiser Permanente of Hawaii has been the recipient of many care awards including best Medicaid provider in the nation as well as one of the top 10 Medicare providers. The medical oncology division is a 3-physician practice based at the modern main medical center in Honolulu. The successful candidate will be providing adult hematology and oncology services. The medical center has 250+ beds and is equipped to provide state of the art care. A 35% expansion of the medical center is to occur in the next 2 years. Practice is clinic-based with inpatient consultations as necessary. The starting salary is competitive with a generous benefit package including paid vacation and educational leave, medical liability, health, dental, disability and life insurance, and a retirement program difficult to duplicate. Competitive salaries are adjusted yearly based upon national data from urban specialized practices (plus 4% for chief's pay). Enjoy the advantages of group practice while living in paradise.
