5000 physicians provides care to over 3.2 million Kaiser
Foundation Health Plan members throughout Northern
California. We have been nationally recognized for

Our infrastructure is supported by one of the largest
clinical data information systems in the United States

In Northern California, we have 18 accredited
Kaiser Foundation Hospitals with 3 accredited residency
programs in San Francisco, Oakland, and Santa Clara.
In addition, Kaiser Permanente has affiliations with
Stanford, University of California San Francisco and
University of California Davis. Combined-TPMG physicians'
train 350 residents in 15 medical specialties. More
than 600 TPMG physicians serve on the clinical faculties
of medical schools, including Stanford, UCSF and UC
Davis. Kaiser Permanente is also an internationally
renowned research institute, with over 300 research
projects currently being conducted in Northern California.
