The Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) is recruiting
for a Radiation Oncologist to join the staff of a freestanding
Cancer Center in Fresno.
The Permanente Medical
Group (TPMG) is recruiting for a Radiation Oncologist
to join the staff of a freestanding Cancer Center in
Fresno. There are 2 other Board Certified Radiation
Oncologists currently in this practice. This center
treats Kaiser Permanente (KP) patients in Fresno, as
well as private insurance patients. The center has
2 Linacs - 1) a Varian 21EX with 6/18X and 80 leaf
MLC, and 2) a Varian 2100C with 6/18X, 80 leaf MLC.
Treatment plans, including IMRT plans, are performed
on 3 ADAC workstations. The Sonarray U/S targeting
system is used for the treatment of prostate pts. RIT
film analysis and chamber measurements are used for
IMRT QA. Varis record & verify is used for both
Linacs. The center has its own 70cm bore CT simulator
on site. There is on site physics, dosimetry, and nursing.
TPMG is the largest and oldest medical group
in the Kaiser Permanente federation with over 6,000
physicians and over 3.2 million patients, and TPMG
provides the medical services for KP in Northern CA.

Regional clinical guidelines and policies. 3D conformal
and IMRT competence is required. ABR Board Certification
and prior clinical work experience is preferred although

outdoors activities of Yosemite and the Sierras. Good
interpersonal skills and the ability to work in an
integrated medical system are essential. The start
date is as soon as available.
