The Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) is recruiting
for a Radiation Oncologist to join the staff of a freestanding
Cancer Center in Sacramento.
The Permanente Medical
Group (TPMG) is recruiting for a Radiation Oncologist
to join the staff of a freestanding Cancer Center in
Sacramento. There are 2 other Board Certified Radiation
Oncologists currently in this practice. This center
treats Kaiser Permanente (KP) patients in South Sacramento
Area. The center has 1 Linac, a Varian 21IX with 6/15
photons and MLCs. A second Linac is being planned for
a completely furnished vault. Treatment plans, including
IMRT plans, are performed on Eclipse workstations.
Portal dosimetry and chamber measurements are used
for IMRT QA. Varis record & verify is used. The
center has its own 70cm bore single slice CT simulator
and software on site. There is on site physics, dosimetry,
and nursing.
TPMG is the largest and oldest
medical group in the Kaiser Permanente federation with
over 6,000 physicians and over 3.2 million patients,
and TPMG provides the medical services for KP in Northern
CA. These positions offer good starting salaries, superb

is required, and IMRT competence is strongly preferred
although not required. ABR Board Certification and
prior clinical work experience is preferred although
not required.. A desire to live in Northern CA in proximity

skills and the ability to work in an integrated medical
system are essential. The start date is as soon as
available.
Must be BC/BE and California Licensed.
