Implements strategies and develops tools to advance clinical performance in defined segments of clinical programs or services. Participates in Advisory Board activities. Works collaboratively with corporate, division, and facility staffs to effect improvement within a defined segment of the clinical program or service. General Responsibilities: -Implements short term strategies for program or service performance improvement that contribute to the longer term objectives of the department. -Designs tools and assembles toolkits to support strategies and tactics for the clinical program or service that are evidence-based and comply with regulatory requirements. -Applies performance improvement principles to work products. -Routinely monitors performance, improvement, and outcomes of care for clinical program or service. -Maintains current knowledge of emerging clinical technologies and evidence within area of expertise. -Contributes to Advisory Board activities. -Leads cross functional teams at the corporate, division, and facility level. -Provides direct support to division and facility staff. -Practice and adhere to the 'Code of Conduct' philosophy and 'Mission and Value Statement'. -Develop and maintain clinical portion of Infection Prevention Atlas website. -Assist in the preparation of formal communications to IC Community. -Assist in preparation and implementation of facility policy and procedures as needed. -Provides periodic review of documented clinical interventions and provides summary reports and recommendations to facilities on quality/content of documentation. -Maintain effective communication with facility directors and leadership teams on clinical initiatives and facility and division results. -Assists in development of 'best practice' recommendations for clinical procedures to minimize adverse events and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. -Provides guidance to facilities regarding CHOA, CMS, NQSF, and OSHA standards. -Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
