Description: St. Joseph's Medical Center Yonkers, New York, is seeking Attending Physcician BC / BE in EM. 12hr shifts (7a - 7p, 7p - 7a) with 2nd layer Dr's and PA coverage.
MEDEXCEL EMERGENCY PHYSCIAN SERVICES OF YONKERS, PLLC doing business out of St Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers, Westchester County, NY. This is a (190) bed community hospital with an annual Emergency Department vol of 35,000. St Joseph's hospital is the Medical Control for the city of Yonkers with more then (300) physicians in every medical specialty and close to (1200) employees.

The ER department is staffed by a highly qualified and experienced team of physicians, physicians assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and nursing assistants who respond to medical emergencies ranging from fractures to heart attacks.

The ER includes a Fast Track system for evaluating and treating small emergencies quickly, Psychiatric treatment facilities and a dedidcated asthma treatment area as well as special protocols for chest pain and strokes.

The ER has a dedicated radiology suite to expedite diagnosis and treatment and to reduce waiting times and it has a PACS system. 3rd and 4th year emergency medicine residents rotate through the emegency department as well as Family Practice residents, Physician Assistants and Nursing students. The emergency department has solide back up in the sub specialties and excellent ancillary services.

COMPENSATION includes $113 hourly rate for qualified candidates, (4) Weeks Paid Vacation, (1) Week CME with $1500, Paid Occurrence Malpractice, Studen Loan Assistance Payment Program, Profit Sharing Plan, 401k Retirement Plan, optional Health, Dental cafeteria plan, Life Ins, LT DI, AFLAC, FLEX Saving Plan, Prescription Vision Plan.
