Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center is seeking
a Board eligible/certified Hematology/Oncology Physician
to lead an existing and well-respected Regional Cancer
Center.
Sharing the practice would be a Physician
Assistant who would help with call. We can have this
person in place, or the new physician can take part
in the recruitment for this provider.
This is
an employment opportunity with a base salary of $450,000
+ $50,000 for PA supervision. It also includes a $50,000
signing bonus. Additional benefits include: health,
life, disability, vision and dental insurance, pension
plan; vacation compensation totalling 10% of base;
CME/dues/subscriptions ($6,000 allotment and 5 days
annually); Paid malpractice is also included.
The
Health Center is located on Route 16, halfway between
the cities of Mattoon (population 20,000) and Charleston
(population 25,000). College level education is available
at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston and at
Lake Land College in Mattoon. Recreational activities
such as: golf, tennis, horse back riding, water skiing,
sailing, camping, canoeing, hiking, fishing, and hunting
are abundant in the area. Art, theater, athletic events,
and historical sites are locally available as well.
The Health Center provides a full range of
acute-care, general services and home health services
to approximately 357,000 residents of Coles and the
surroundings 12 counties. The Health Center's active
and consulting medical staff includes 145 providers
representing 28 specialties. Some of the services provided
by the Health Center include: Regional Cancer Center,
Outpatient Surgery Center, Women & Children's Services,
Level II Perinatal Unit, Adult Care Unit, Behavioral
Health Services, Radiology and Imaging Services, Cardiovascular
Services including Cardiac Rehabilitation and Cardiac
Cathetherization Lab, and Gastroenterology and Special
Procedures and Laboratory.
