Description: Pulmonary/Critical Care physician needed to join an existing practice immediately!
Be a part of the excitement that is happening on the Mississippi Gulf Coast as our community recovers and rebuilds. Garden Park Medical Center, a 130-bed full service HCA facility, is searching for a BC/BE Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to join two others in a well established, 25-year old practice on our staff. This is the premier practice in the area, where the physicians are described by their staff as "outstanding people". Excellent long term potential exists for a real go getter willing to work hard. They are currently scheduling appointments six months in advance, and the practice has an extensive waiting list of patients hoping for appointments sooner. Practice call will be shared equally, 1:3. A strong primary care referral base and medical staff combine to give the new physician an opportunity to build a very successful practice - immediately! This is a general Pulmonary/Critical Care practice with two very nice, very busy office locations on the hospitals' campus, and a very cohesive staff. The new physician will walk in and hit the ground running from day one. We are offering a competitive financial package, including an income guarantee, benefits, overhead expenses, relocation assistance, and start-up and marketing. In addition we can provide a sign-on bonus, marketing, legal fee reimbursement and educational assistance for training physicians. The practice is located in a coastal community that is only an hour from two metropolitan cities!

Garden Park has been a vital part of the coast's healthcare industry since it was founded in 1973. In 2000, the 130-bed hospital relocated to a new $54-million medical center in Orange Grove, just north of I-10 and across from the Crossroads Shopping Center. This modern facility offers all private rooms and provides a wide arrange of services including medical units, surgical unit, telemetry unit, ICU, orthopedic/neurology unit, LDRP rooms, pediatrics, and Seasons Behavioral Health Services unit.
